The six-year-old Harshita Ojha recently won the NBC Best Child Artists Award for her role as Veera in Star Plus’ Veera. The tiny tot excitedly told us, “The trophy that I have won has a golden crown too. I love the crown so very much that I want to keep the trophy with me all the time.”
Though the actress finds acting fun, she wishes to be a doctor when she grows up. Her mother Reema Ojha adds, “We will support our daughter in whatever she wants to become when she grows up. We have taught her not to get carried away by success as far as winning trophies are concerned. We have explained to her that even if she doesn’t win an award she shouldn’t lose heart. For instance for the forthcoming The Twelfth Indian Telly Awards we have told her that we are attending simply an awards function and not going there in expectation that she will be winning a prize.”
This small wonder has won awards in school too. She won the Best Student Award in Junior KG and the award for the Best Conversationist in Senior KG. Her father Sanjay Ojha won the Best Dad Award when she was in playgroup.
Besides wanting to be a doctor when she grows up, Harshita also wishes that her ailing grandfather gets better and her late grandmother returns from God to earth again.
We wish all the best to Harshita in her career. You will find out soon if she wins the Best Child Actor Award for The Twelfth Indian Telly Awards or not.
