Amita Chandekar is an unhappy woman. After all, she's got valid reason to feel dejected. Few weeks ago, Amita along with her partners Shilpa Saklani and Chhavi Mittal was eliminated from Saas vs Bahu . The trio had only missed out by one mark. Despite being the best performer every time, Amita expected to get her return ticket to the show but she was in for a rude shock when she was ignored for the wild card.

"As the best performer in my team, I expected to get a wild card. I was shocked when they chose Shilpa and not me. When I questioned they stated that that it was the judges' decision to bring Shilpa back. There is no SMS voting here. I reckon it was the channel and the production house's decision to ignore me. This is my assumption," says Amita.
Producer Siddharth Tewary (Swastik Pictures) though rubbished Amita's claim. "Why would we do that? It was the judges' call to bring back Shilpa and not Amita. Neither the channel nor us had anything to do with this decision."
One of the judges, Longi said, "Yes, it was our decision to bring back Shilpa as her overall performance was better than the others. Amita was good in the solo round but she was miserable in duet performance. Initially, I was in favour of bringing back Chhavi but then it was a collective decision by the judges to choose Shilpa."
