This adage was proven true by four of television’s saas who triumphed over bahus Juhi Parmar Jasveer Kaur, Barkha Bisht and Rucha Gujarati in the grand finale of Sahara One reality show Saas vs Bahu . After weeks of sweating it out, the team of Krutika Desai, Jayati Bhatia, Kishori Shahane and Vaishnavi has won the coveted Saas vs Bahu title. Confirming the news, Krutika Desai says, “Firstly, I need to pat myself on the back. Shooting for the finals turned to be a Herculean task. The strike resulted in the cancellation of the shoot. When it eventually took place we found ourselves shooting up to 5.00 am in the morning. The semis and the finals all took place inside three days which meant that we danced to four tracks during this period. Thus at the moment, I’m still trying to recoup.” Adding further she says, “It was a closely fought battle. But we emerged winners on the basis of judges’ points and audience votes. I was too tired and thus couldn’t take part in the final group dance. Luckily, for us Jasveer Kaur too couldn’t be part of it as she had to catch her flight to Bangkok. That meant that it was three saas versus three bahus in the final group dance.” The grand finale of Saas vs Bahu will telecast on November 12 at 8.00 pm on Sahara One.
