MUMBAI :The talented actress Leena Jumani has recently entered Sony TV's show Appnapan and the fans love her.
The stunning diva is playing a grey shade character of Sonali in the show, who used to love Nikhil in the past and is now back in his life.
Well, this isn’t the first time that Leena is playing such a character. She was previously very much appreciated for her character Tanu in Kumkum Bhagya.
Tellychakkar got in touch with the actress and got to know about her reactions for the show going off-air.
How do you feel about the show ending so soon?
Obviously, it doesn’t feel good because I just recently entered the show. The way they had welcomed me and treated me like a family. I was very happy, even if it was just for a short span of time. I mean yes, shows end but this one ended up too soon. I am sad.
What is something that attracts you towards grey shade characters and negative characters?
I find it very challenging to play such roles. In reality, my personality is that of an introvert who doesn’t go out much, doesn’t talk a lot with people, and I have pure intentions for everyone. I am a kind of person that if someone wrongs me, I try to put myself in their shoes in order to understand their perspective. So, playing these negative and grey shade characters makes me feel very different. Also, I get more shades to act for. As in, performing as a character that you’re actually not. That’s why I like grey shade and negative roles more. Although, I don’t necessarily pick these roles in series or other projects. I always try to do different characters.
What is your pastime hobby?
I like to sit in my room and watch some web series or movies and spend some time alone.
