MUMBAI:  Triptii Dimri, who was last seen in Bulbbul, is now gearing up for the next film titled Qala. The movie is directed by Anvitaa Dutt who also helmed Bulbbul. Qala will premiere on Netflix on 1st December 2022. Today, the trailer of the film was launched at a grand event in Mumbai.

The trailer of the film is impressive, and Triptii surely looks promising in it. While talking about her character at the trailer launch, the actress stated, “She is very different, I am not like her at all.  But, she (Qala) is a very special girl. It was a lot of fun for both of us (she and Anvitaa) to build her. Anvitaa has given birth to Qala and it was interesting for me to get into her world through her eyes. It was a very special journey, something that I will cherish for life.”

Qala will mark Irrfan Khan’s son Babil Khan’s acting debut. It’s a period film that takes us back to the 40s and 50s era. After watching the trailer one can say that Qala is a musical mystery thriller.

The film is produced by Karnesh Ssharma under the banner Clean Slate Filmz. Karnesh is Anushka Sharma’s brother, and earlier, the actress was also a part of the production house. But, a few months ago, she decided to step down as a producer.

Qala also stars Amit Sial and Swastika Mukherjee in pivotal roles. It is Dutt's second directorial and as Bulbbul had impressed one and all, now everyone is expecting something amazing from Qala. So, let’s wait and watch what response the movie will get.
