MUMBAI: It has been known for some time now that Nitesh Tiwari’s next – Bawaal – is all set to star Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead roles. Fans have been greatly anticipating this pairing as it is their first time sharing the screen together. However, according to new reports, the film is experiencing a few delays owing to some technical issues.
Sources close to the film have said that the production may be delayed as Nitesh Tiwari and the team are using a special kind of technology for this upcoming film. They further said that they have big aspirations for the film and the on-screen presentation, which is why they are shooting it using some special technology in Poland. Nitesh Tiwari later confirmed the same, saying that instead of settling for mediocre effects and to maintain the film’s quality, they postponed the release.

He said, “The visual finesse we want to achieve on these sequences will need more time than we expected. We don’t want to cut short at anything because our purpose is to bring nothing but the best version of our vision to our viewers.”

Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor have continually been giving fans a glimpse into the beautiful location through the photos and videos they shared on their social media from their shoot in Poland.
Bawaal was initially scheduled to release on 7th April 2023, but due to these latest developments they have decided to push the release. The film is being produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The makers are yet to make an announcement about the new release date of the film.
