MUMBAI: Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies is one of the most awaited films of the year, and one of the reasons is that Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan and late Sridevi’s daughter Khushi Kapoor are going to make their debut with the film. The movie will premiere on Netflix, and recently, at a Tudum event in Brazil, the teaser of The Archies was released.
The Archies is an adaptation of the comic book of the same name. It’s an American comic book, but Zoya’s film is set in India in the 1960s.
Well, the teaser of the film has failed to impress the netizens. A netizen commented, “The 99% of population of india won’t relate to this.” Another netizen wrote, “None of them look like they can act or dance. Zoya Akhtar is known for directing some really good movies, and the expectations from The Archies are also quite high. But, as the teaser has failed to impress the netizens, let’s hope the trailer turns out to be better and the movie is also good.
Also, everyone is looking forward to the debut of Suhana and Khushi. It will be interesting to see what response the movie will get at the box office.
