MUMBAI: In a dramatic turn of events on the reality show Battleground, popular contestant Asim Riaz has made a headline-grabbing exit following a heated altercation with fellow participants Rubina Dilaik and Abhishek Malhan. The disagreement quickly escalated into an intense verbal clash, ultimately leading to Asim walking out of the show.
Speculation surrounding Asim’s departure has now been confirmed in the latest promo, where it is revealed that he will not be returning to the competition. Kashish Kapoor is seen breaking the news to Team UP, confirming that their mentor Asim will not be making a comeback anytime soon.
In the same promotional clip, fans were introduced to professional boxer Neeraj Goyat, who has officially stepped in as the new mentor for the UP group. Taking over the reins from Asim, Neeraj wasted no time in establishing his presence and it didn’t take long for sparks to fly.
