MUMBAI: While we have seen a lot of content over the time, we can agree that the audience has been loving this experience that OTT platforms are providing as we don’t just get to watch OTT series but also all the movie that get released on the platforms after being released in theatres.
Surely there have been a lot of OTT series that gave a unique concept and kept the audience hooked but there were also some concepts that gave a deeper perspective into something that’s not very usual.

Such is a thing with this Amazon miniTV’s upcoming series Dillogical where we get to see a simple guy named Saransh who surprises his childhood sweetheart Jinal with a promise ring but to his shock she desires an open relationship. This is where things get interesting as he navigates family, friends, and wedding chaos, torn by Jinal's plea to explore love beyond their bond. The cast of the show includes Anshuman Malhotra, Nupur Nagpal and Priyank Sharma in main leads.
Team Tellychakkar got in touch with Nupur Nagpal and got into a conversation where the actress spilled some beans and gave interesting insights when asked about the story from her point of view, her character and much more.
About the show
On this, Nupur Nagpal said that Dillogical is primarily set at a destination wedding where a lot of old friends come together after a really long time to celebrate the wedding of another friend who is getting married. The characters that story revolves around are childhood sweethearts Jinal (played bu Nupur) and Saransh (played by Anshuman Malhotra) who are from the bride’s side. Nupur further added that at the wedding when Saransh and Jinal are together, there’s so much celebration and lovely chemistry bubbling while there’s also a lot of drama, fun and complications that these characters go through. Explaining further, Nupur said that they meet Dhruv (played by Priyank) who is from the groom’s side and the show then also follows their story which shows a conflict between the heart and the brain, which is what the story is about.
About your character
On this, Nupur Nagpal said that she plays the character of Jinal, a girl from Baroda who has never stepped out of Baroda, has grown up with a set of friends where Saransh is her oldest friend and childhood sweetheart who even lives close to her. Giving an insight, Nupur added that Jinal’s life is all set as her family expects that Saransh has got a job in the U.S. and Jinal will get married to him and will have her ‘Happily-ever-after’ but Jinal has her own dreams and ambitions and in 4 years, she steps out of the house for the first when she leave to attend the wedding. Nupur adds that even though Jinal has not seen the world, because of social media the world has reach her and so she knows what’s happening outside in the world and so Jinal who is a content creator, dancer, and performing artist wants to become an independent person and get out of the cocoon to explore and know what all is there in the world.
Audience expectations
On this, Nupur Nagpal said that the audience can expect characters which are very different from each other and grappling with different situations in life, how they deal with those situations and how they come together, which will all be very interesting, funny, entertaining and relatable. It’s one of those warm and fuzzy shows that has a lot of human emotions and it’s like the perfect valentine’s day watch.
