MUMBAI: Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were once one of the hottest couples of Hollywood. The duo fell in love while filming for Mr & Mrs Smith and then took their relationship to the next level by getting married a few years later. The duo also have three biological kids together and 3 adopted kids.

Trouble however became apparent between the couple after the 2016 plane incident when the family was travelling from France to Los Angeles. The Salt actress then claimed that she was abused by her ex-husband Brad Pitt much before the plane incident.
The actress’s legal team released the statement, “While Pitt's history of physical abuse of Jolie started well before the family's September 2016 plane trip from France to Los Angeles, this flight marked the first time he turned his physical abuse on the children as well. Jolie then immediately left him.”
As per Pitt’s NDA statement, he reportedly asked Angelina to not disclose the physical abuse. The actress’s lawyers claim that Piitt wanted to contractually bind herself" to silence her after he discovered in 2021 that she submitted a sealed filing, consisting of "emails, summaries of the family's expected testimony and other evidence" to help settle their child custody dispute.
Jolie’s attorney Paul Murphy said, “By refusing to buy her interest but then suing her, Pitt put directly at issue why that NDA was so important to him and what he hoped it would bury: his abuse of Jolie and their family.”

Apart from fighting over their vineyard, Pitt and Jolie are also fighting for the custody of their kids; vineyard, Jolie and Pitt are also fighting over the custody of their children Maddox, 22, Pax, 20, Zahara, 19, Shiloh, 17, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 15.
