According to a popular news portal report, Sabita is now stable, which is the most recent update. “Pankaj traveled to Kolkata on Sunday morning to be beside his sister. They are trying to get her moved from Dhanbad to Kolkata for further treatment,” added the source.
Sabita sustained a leg fracture and a jaw injury. It was reported that Rajesh was driving the car, during which, in an attempt to avoid colliding with a rickshaw, it caused him to lose control of the vehicle, resulting in it mounting a divider. Still, the CCTV footage only shows him speeding the car and ramming into a three-foot-high divider.
The source said, "Rajesh Tiwari died while trying to save a woman who came in front of their car and, in the process, hit a block."
Pankaj Tripathi has not yet released an official statement over the horrifying car crash.
When the incident occurred, Rajesh, an Indian Railways employee based in Chittaranjan, was allegedly returning from Kamalpur in Gopalganj, Bihar, to his place of work. The family and the community have been shaken by the incident, which has led to an outpouring of support and prayers for Sarita's recovery.
