MUMBAI : Sagar Parekh gained immense success with the show Anupama. He entered the show mid-way as Samar and from day one, he made a place in the audience's hearts. His character Samar is loved by the fans and they consider him as an ideal son but then a twist happened where we did see post the marriage Samar was seen supporting his wife.
Samar, who has also been a contestant on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11 revealed about his initial days in the industry saying, “I was new to the Industry and I had done my first web series, my co-star was Avneet Kaur. At that time, I was completely unaware about Instagram and how things work on social media, she was the one who encouraged me to download the app and make an account.”
He further said, “I play acoustic guitar, but haven't gotten trained for it. I am a self-taught guitarist and it's my hobby. During that web show's shoot, I showed one of my videos where I was playing the guitar to Avneet and she was quite impressed, she asked me to post these videos on Instagram and I was like 'woh kya hota hai', that is when she made me download the app and pushed me to use it dedicatedly. Even back then, she had followers in millions.”
Speaking of his first co-star Avneet Kaur, Sagar shared, “I am sure Avneet wouldn't remember me anymore, but that was my first series and I was not that well-groomed as I was quite new to the Industry. But it was a one-of-a-kind experience to work for a web series.”
