MUMBAI: Arti Singh is all set to tie the knot with Navi Mumbai-based businessman Dipak Chauhan. The actress has planned to get married to her fiancé on April 25, 2024. The wedding ceremony will be held at ISKCON temple. It will be graced by Arti’s brother and actor-comedian, Krushna Abhishek along with his wife Kashmera Shah, and her beloved mama, actor Govinda. In a new interview with the popular news portal, Kashmeera said that Govinda will be attending the wedding and she is excited to meet her ‘father-in-law’.
Earlier, Govinda and Krushna Abhishek had a public dispute for years. However, according to Abhishek’s wife Kashmera, the wedding will be a chance to move past the bitterness and have a reunion.
Kashmeera said, “He might have been angry at us, but he is not angry at Arti. And it is not Krushna’s wedding. If he was not coming for our wedding, we would have understood as he is upset with us. But it is Arti and she really wants him there. I would request him to come as it is Arti, and not take our anger out on her”.
She also mentioned that the family would be glad to welcome him warmly at the wedding. “It’s a happy occasion for the family, and we will welcome him with our open arms. I am his daughter-in-law. I will be meeting my father-in-law at the wedding, and will greet him by touching his feet,” she shared, adding, “Arti has nothing to do with what ensued between us. These things happen in a family, but that does not mean that we don’t love each other,” she added.
Arti earlier also disclosed that her beloved Govinda mama will also grace the wedding along with his family. “This wedding is going to be full of love because the entire family will come under one roof. They all will be there to bless me. Govinda mama, is very happy seeing me happy. It makes me very happy. I just know that he’s (Govinda) coming to give his blessings to me and I’m very happy about it. He was very happy. He’s my Chi Chi mama. He was very happy,” she had said.
