MUMBAI: Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna have won hearts as Anu and Anuj in Anupamaa. The show has become a huge hit ever since it began. Anupamaa has been the TRP topper since the start. People loved the simple story of a housewife and later, the entry of Anuj Kapadia added masala.

Anuj came a breathe of fresh air and his chemistry with Anupamaa won hearts. They became the most loved jodi of telly town and everyday we see #MaAn trending on social media even today. The sizzling chemistry, romantic scenes and their cute performance on Bollywood songs have been appreciated. Now that Anu and Anuj have been separated, fans are not at all happy with it. They want them back on-screens and want to see their romantic moments.
Gaurav Khanna has now opened up about the Anu and Anuj's cute 90s romance on old songs. He spoke to Etimes and said that it feels nostalgic to romance on 90s Bollywood songs and the entire nation has loved the chemistry of #MaAn. He gave the credits to the creative team, writers and producer.
He said that they all brought this idea of romancing on the 90s songs as it is a mature love story. He further said that people have loved and appreciated Anu-Anuj and some still want them to reunite while some do not want them to reunite. However, the reactions have come because of the writers of the show.
He said that sometimes the viewers do not like the story but they don't leave the show as they wait for more good stuff to come in.
Talking about the cast, Anupamaa also stars Aurra Bhatnagar, Trishaan Shah, Sudhanshu Pandey, Nishi Saxena, Aashish Mehrotra, Alpana Buch, Vaquar Shaikh, Parakh Madan, Dishi Duggal Aadhya Barot, Nidhi Shah, Kunwar Amarjeet Singh, Chandni Bhagwanani, and others.
