Kartik Aaryan starrer Chandu Champion gets relief as Prabhas and Deepika Padukone's magnum opus Kalki 2898 AD release date gets postponed

Though the filmmakers are pleased with how the movie has turned out and are confident in the fact, they were a little concerned because the movie seemed to clash with Prabhas and Deepika Padukone's magnum opus Kalki 2898 AD.

MUMBAI : Kartik Aaryan starrer Chandu Champion is one of the most anticipated films of the year. The drama-biographical sports film is directed by Kabir Khan. The actor from Bhool Bhulaiya 2 would be experimenting with the biography genre for the first time. Though the filmmakers are pleased with how the movie has turned out and are confident in the fact, they were a little concerned because the movie seemed to clash with Prabhas and Deepika Padukone's magnum opus Kalki 2898 AD.

Both Chandu Champion and Kalki 2898 AD were scheduled for release on June 14, 2024. As of late the movie starring Kartik will now be released on June 14, 2024, while the film Kalki 2898 AD starring Prabhas will now be released on June 27, 2024.

The above news comes as a big relief for Kartik Aaryan and Kabir Khan. With Prabhas and Deepika Padukone's starrer release date being postponed, Chandu Champion gets a window of 13 days at the box office to transfix more cash. Kalki 2898 AD is certainly the biggest film of the year.

Be it the star cast that includes Deepika Padukone, Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, or the magnificent story, people have really been waiting for the film's release. While Chandu Champion has got a big relief from Kalki 2898 AD, it still has to compete with Kangana Ranaut's Emergency, which will also be released on the same date, which is 14th June 2024.

Kartik Aaryan has enjoyed success at the box office with films like Satyaprem ki katha and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. It would be interesting to see if Chandu Champion gets sprayed with the same love. Kabir Khan's previous sports biographical drama 83, was a box office debacle. Kartik is well-known for his romantic and comedic works. Although Kangana Ranaut's previous films have been massive commercial failures, things could change with Emergency because the movie looks really promising at first.
