Rao has shared that Shah Rukh Khan once gave him a lovely piece of advice saying that he should buy a house beyond his means. He explained, “Shah Rukh sir had taught me one thing ‘Beta kabhi bhi ghar lega na, toh aukaat se thoda zyaada lena. Kyunki phir na, upar wala bhi dekhta hai aur tu khud bhi zyada mehnat karega . I found this very fascinating.”
Rao further added, “Having a home in the city is of course a dream and we have built it lovingly, me and Patralekhaa.” The Queen actor owns a luxurious house spanning 3456 square feet. The house was previously owned by his Mr and Mrs Mahi co-star actress Janhvi Kapoor who bought it in 2020. Rajkummar and his wife Patralekha finalised the property in 2022 and purchased it for Rs 44 Crores.
Speaking of purchasing Mannat which was beyond his means, SRK had once said during an event, “When we bought Mannat, it was way beyond our means, and once we were done buying the house, we didn’t have money to decorate it. We hired a designer, only to realise we couldn’t afford him.”
Heaping praise on King Khan, the Stree actor said, “There’s a lot to learn from [Shah Rukh Khan]. Shah Rukh sir, the way he treats you, the way he gives you so much of respect. His whole attention is on you. He’s present, that’s a great quality. Just to listen to someone. At every party, he would go down three floors, come to your car, open the door for you, make you sit and say bye to you till you are out of his sight,”
Srikanth will hit the theatres on 10th May and also stars Jyothika, Alaya F and Sharad Kelkar.
