"Reality shows are good entertainment and a change from your routine" actor Shalin Bhanot on taking up Khatron Ke Khiladi!

MUMBAI: After winning hearts in Color's Bekaboo, actor Shain Bhanot is all set to return to television screens with a bang. The actor is geared up to participate in Rohit Shetty's popular stunt based reality show, Khatron Ke Khiladi, this year and stun the audience with his daring performance.

Talking about taking up reality shows, the excited Shalin shares, " I took up reality show after a long break because I wanted to connect with the audience and my real self. Reality shows are good entertainment and a change from your routine. I participated in Bigg Boss because I wanted people to know me better; I am quite reserved. Now, Khatron Ke Khiladi is an opportunity to experience a world that gives me an adrenaline rush with every task.”

Notably, during his stint in Bigg Boss 16 last year, Shalin was offered to participate in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi (KKK) after his victory in a task during the final stages of the show. However, the actor turned down the offer. Reflecting on his past decision, he says, " I was inside Bigg Boss 16, already part of a reality show, when I was offered another one. I didn’t want to take on two reality shows consecutively. I am primarily an actor, and the actor within me needed to return to acting. Even before my stint on BB ended, I was signed for Bekaboo, marking my return to fiction, which is my true love. Another reason to accept KKK this time is that a fiction show I was set to begin shooting for has been delayed. This offer came at the right time."
