TellyChakkar got in touch with the actor and asked him did he feel the risk of leaving the number one show like Anupamaa and he reveals that he never met anyone from the sets of the show before leaving.
Didn't you feel it risky to leave a show like Anupama and participate in a reality show like Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 14 ?
Life is very short and it doesn't give you a second choice, I had taken the decision of quitting Anupamaa but I wasn't getting the strength as I have mother's responsibility and plus living in Mumbai is not easy it was a big step and I wanted to take risk and I believe if I fall I shall rise.
Was it on a good note that you left Anupamaa?
I feel so blessed I didn't hurt anyone though I was sad as I was associated with the show for four years and I had my emotions attached to the show. I am very happy and Khatron gave me the chance.
Who did you meet before leaving Anupamaa and what tips did they give you?
I didn't meet anyone as no one knew I was leaving and only one person knew I was leaving. He kept it a secret and his word and never let it out and am thankful for it.
Well, there is no doubt that it was a brave decision of Aashish Mehrotra to quit Anupama and do Khatron Ke Khiladi Season 14.
TellyChakkar wishes the best for Aashish's new journey.
