Following his exit from Teri Meri Doriyaann, Yogendra Vikram Singh portrayed Diljeet in the program, and posted a video on social media showcasing fans' reactions to his exit as well as his relationship with his on-screen son Akeer.

Along with the video, Singh wrote, "Hamari adhuri kahani…. Diljeet and Akeer bond.I know many of you are disappointed, but some times it is destined to end like this. Thank you so much for all the love."

Yogendra revealed his exit from the show and said that the producers included this twist in response to a drop in the show's ratings in an interview with the well-known news outlet. He did admit that he enjoyed developing a different shade of character and playing the show's obsessive lover.

He mentioned being disappointed upon learning the news of his exit but appreciation from the crew made him feel content. The actor said, "I performed scene and the moment the director said cut, the crew gave me an applause and that moment I realized that even if the character is ending, I received appreciation from the makers; I won hearts and that's the ultimate achievement."

Sahiba has been arrested for killing Diljeet and reports suggest that the upcoming track of the show will have a major twist with Sahiba's death. Sahiba will die in the show leaving Angad distraught. However, actress Himanshi Parashar who plays the character of Sahiba in the show will be retained as she will re-enter the show in an all-new character.

When approached by the well-known news source, Himanshi Parashar stated that she was waiting for further information regarding the impending twist in the show and that she did not have any official confirmation of the same.

Himanshi described the show's declining TRPs as disheartening and demotivating when questioned about it. She did express her great faith in the show's creators and the fans who had watched it from the start. As actors, they don't really have a lot to say in the story of the show, as Parashar also pointed out.

She said, "Maybe viewers didn't like the recent track but makers are working on it and the writers are underway in writing something exciting that viewers might like."

Himanshi also mentioned that viewers are eager to see #SahAn (Sahiba-Angad) together and that they frequently give them edited footage of the couple to express their love for them, even when the show isn't doing well in terms of TRP's.

Actors like Vijayendra Kumeria, Gauri Tonk, and Lubna Azim are among those who appear in Teri Meri Doriyaann.
