MUMBAI : Anupamaa is presently ruling our television screens. The show is doing exceptionally well and is topping the weekly BARC ratings. Rupali Ganguly plays the lead role while Gaurav Khanna plays the role of her husband Anuj. These days the track revolves around Anupama going to the US.

Panditji will announce the commencement of the Janeu ceremony.
Pari inquires about its importance out of curiosity. The three strands of the janeu, according to Anupama, stand for three different life debts: the Acharya rinn (debt to the teachers), the pitru rinn (due to the ancestors), and the dev rinn (debt to the gods). She goes on to say that people who wear the janeu are urged to avoid bad influences; by doing so, their conduct, routines, conversations, and ideas will remain pure. Their spiritual journey, attention, and focus will all benefit from this. Some individuals think this ritual is outdated, says Babu Ji. Anupama stresses the significance of keeping in mind and honouring the family's traditions and principles. Ansh and Titu are asked to vow by Pandit ji that they will not commit any wrongdoing. Then, Sudhanshu Pandey's Vanraj assists.
Shruti is consoled by Anuj (Gaurav Khanna) and Aadhya, who are getting ready to travel to India, who reassure her that they are attending a wedding rather than going to battle. Unsure, Shruti gives Aadhya a hug. Reminding her to take her medication and to answer her calls, Aadhya mentions that Anupama has left notes everywhere. Anuj tells Shruti to take care and requests to come over soon. Shruti is reassured by Aadhya that the marriage will happen once they return from India. When Anupama tells Babu Ji that she's going, the children beg her to stay. When she goes to Bhavesh's residence alone, Babu ji asks her what she plans to do. But Baa agrees with her decision to go, and Vanraj points out the restricted area.
When Anupama makes the decision to go, Titu offers to drop her off. Since Titu isn't yet their son-in-law, Vanraj cynically says that they can still ask him for favours. Dimple asks to go with them since she has to go to the tailor, but Vanraj is adamant about taking her alone. Titu gestures for Dimple to go with them. Anupama confronts Vanraj, inquiring as to why he finds it objectionable that she is with them. Vanraj responds that her poor reputation will also have an impact on them. In another scene, Anuj is on the phone with someone, desperate to get information that will establish Anu's innocence and willing to do whatever it takes to get it. Anupama is shocked to see Devika when she gets home, and she chastises her for not calling beforehand. Devika celebrates by giving a cake.

The Shahs get together later to have Aam Ras, or mango pulp. Baa talks about how excited the kids are, and Kavya talks about how difficult it was to put them to sleep. Anupama made it, as revealed by Kinjal, while Toshu, Pakhi, and Vanraj commend the Aam Ras. Anupama receives criticism from Toshu, who claims that she has no shame despite damaging Yashdeep. Babu ji highlights Toshu's hypocrisy in order to protect Anupama. When Baa asks why Babu ji is always standing up for Anupama, Babu ji responds because Baa never considers Anupama to be a daughter. Dimple and Kinjal back Anupama because they think she'll establish her innocence. Concerns about the rumour from the neighbours are voiced by Vanraj and Baa. After getting a call, Vanraj tells someone to go after her. Beeji calls Anupama, comforts her, and makes a commitment.
