MUMBAI: Ranveer Singh has left a huge mark as an actor and has worked tirelessly to earn the name for himself. The actor has been part of the film industry for more than a decade now and doesn’t plan on slowing down. Ranveer has given us some of the biggest blockbusters in Indian cinema like Bajirao Mastani, Gully Boy, among others.
Filmmaker Farhan Akhtar has officially ended rumors about the much awaited "Don 3," stating that Ranveer Singh's picture is still on schedule. Akhtar promised that the project will resume next year, despite recent rumors claiming that it had been shelved due to several delays. In a sneak peek from his conversation with Pinkvilla, Akhtar provided an update on his movie, saying, "We begin Don 3 filming next year. Really, really looking forward to it.”
Fans of Singh, who have been anxiously anticipating the movie in which the actor would play the title role—which Shah Rukh Khan previously portrayed in "Don" (2006) and "Don 2" (2011)—are relieved by the announcement. Audiences were eager to witness Ranveer's take on the role, and his casting had created a lot of anticipation.
The movie, which was supposed to start production this year, was postponed since the adversary hasn't been decided upon by the producers. Conjecture on the whereabouts of 'Don 3' also surfaced, with rumors suggesting that Ranveer's other film projects, such as 'Rakshas' and 'Anniyan' remake, were shelved.
