MUMBAI : Farah Khan Kunder is best known for directing films like Main Hoon Na and Om Shanti Om, and is also an acclaimed choreographer. She has also turned an actor in the past for the movie Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi where she played the female lead opposite Boman Irani.
Farah Khan entered the Hindi film industry as a choreographer and has worked with countless big names of the industry. She has also judged a lot of reality shows and is currently a judge in Sony TV’s dancing reality show Jhalak Dikhala Jaa season 11.
Majorly known for her choreographies, she has also turned a director in the past and the audience always loved her movies.

In a conversation with a well-known media outlet, Farah Khan was asked about the song ‘Deewangi Deewangi’ from her movie Om Shanti Om which is now remembered as an epic song for the kind of star power it has.
While giving insights about the making of the song, Farah Khan opened up about a few actors who did not want to be a part of the song, especially Aamir Khan, saying, “Aamir I wanted very badly. Toh Aamir ko karna nahi tha lekin usne mere ko aisa explanation diya ke mera sar ghum gaya. Usne mere ko aisa main ‘Taare Zameen Par’ abhi edit kar raha hu aur…I said Aamir literally ek ghante mein tera 2 shots hai I just want Salman, Shahrukh, Aamir. Abhi Jamnagar mein karke aaye the. Uska kya fayda, history mein jata yeh gaana. He said main bolunga, mera edit waste ho jayega, fir main wapis jaunga who pura chakkar ho jayega fir meri movie 3 mahine delay ho jayegi…Toh I said tu bhai mat delay kar. Then after a long time after that, he told me ‘I didn’t want to do it only’ I said toh bol deta. Abhi bulaungi toh shayad aayega.”
