MUMBAI: Star Plus has ventured into unexplored territory. Star Plus has arrived with its new show, Maati Se Bandhi Dor, starring Rutuja Bagwe and Ankit Gupta in lead roles.

Shiwani Chakraborty, who plays the role of Kaveri in the show got into a candid chat with TellyChakkar and spilled beans on what she likes most about her role and if there are any creative differences that she faces on the set. When asked Shiwani what she loves most about her role, she said, “The one thing I love the most about my role is the simplicity of Kaveri. She is on the face and does not shy away from calling spade a spade. I have been getting a lot of love from the audience and they are calling me pretty even in simplistic dressing. I initially thought about how I will look and how I will pull off a character which is so simple but the way Kaveri has been designed is such that it is beautifully portrayed.”

TellyChakkar also asked Shiwani what is that one thing she would like to change about her role if given a chance. She said, “Overall, Kaveri is good but I feel that the character could be more strong when it comes to her personal life. Like Vaiju is handling the entire family and keeping them together, Kaveri could be shown making independent decisions and having control over her domestic life.

I feel there are many layers to my character that can be explored.” (Also Read: Maati Se Bandhi Dor: Jaya to come out of coma; will go against Vaiju? - EXCLUSIVE)

We also questioned Shiwani if she faces any creative differences on set, she opined, “I would say that we have healthy differences which are mutually agreed upon looking at what best can be brought about from the particular scene.”
