MUMBAI: Sanjana Kapoor, Karan Kapoor, and Kunal Kapoor, the children of Shashi Kapoor and Jennifer Kendal, continued their father's legacy. But because of their appearances and acting abilities, the crowds turned away all three of them. Many sources claim that the British appearance and dialect of Kunal, Karan, and Sanjana seriously hampered their acting careers. They all three gave up acting soon after and pursued other careers; today, they are all prosperous and happy in their own right.
Kunal Kapoor, the eldest son of the iconic actor Shashi Kapoor, debuted as an actor in the English-language movie Siddhartha. He contributed to several films in the years that followed, including Panipat, Utsav, Trikal, Ahista Ahista, Vijeta, Junoon, and Singh is Bling. He abandoned acting to pursue a career in commercial filmmaking, nevertheless, since he was unable to achieve success in his acting career. Kunal Kapoor directed over 800 television commercials after establishing "Ad Filmwalas," a firm dedicated to creating commercial films. At the moment, Kunal is among the biggest and most prosperous commercial filmmakers in the nation.
Among the most attractive members of the Kapoor family's lineage is Karan Kapoor. He was no less than a Hollywood actor in his younger years. Regretfully, when he sought to pursue a career in Hindi Film Industry, his British appearance turned into his greatest vulnerability. For those who don't know, Karan starred in three additional movies: Sultanat, Loha, and 36 Chowringhee Lane, following his breakthrough performance in Junoon.
After finding that his acting career in Hindi cinema was not fulfilling, Karan Kapoor decided to pursue his passion for photography full-time. After starting a photography business in London, he worked with numerous clients throughout the world. Following his success in the photography field, he returned to India and held numerous exhibitions. Karan's career as a photographer was solidified in 2009 when he took home a significant prize from the International Photography Awards.
Sanjana Kapoor, the daughter of Shashi Kapoor, is sometimes overshadowed in the public spotlight by her brothers, Kunal and Karan. Some people might not know, nevertheless, that she also gave acting a shot. Following her role in 36 Chowringhee Lane, she went on to feature in Utsav, Salaam Bombay!, Hero Hiralal, and Aranyaka.
Sanjana Kapoor, however, said goodbye to Hindi cinema because her acting failed to impress both the public and critics. Sanjana runs Prithvi Theatre for a while after quitting playing until starting her own theatre company, Junoon, in 2012. She is still conducting her theatre company peacefully and still producing plays all around the country.
