MUMBAI: Anupamaa is presently ruling our television screens. The show is doing exceptionally well and is topping the weekly BARC ratings. Rupali Ganguly plays the lead role while Gaurav Khanna plays the role of her husband Anuj. These days the track revolves around Anupama going to the US.

Current sources state that Kavya, not Anuj, would be shown becoming Adhya's Guardian.
Things are going to get really messy since Kavya will be seen taking Anupama's place and managing her responsibilities because she won't be able to care for her own family.
Anuj will also be shown to be experiencing mental health problems and leading a gloomy life.
It will not be clear why Anuj and Anupama have separated once again.
