MUMBAI: Fans of Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan were recently concerned when information on his eye treatment became viral on the internet. The actor was photographed in Mumbai on Wednesday night attending the birthday celebration of Siddharth Anand, the director of Pathaan, however, he hasn't yet released a formal statement.
On Wednesday, SRK made a rare appearance in front of the cameras, and he looked sharp. Wearing loose jeans and a black t-shirt, he looked effortlessly stylish with a matching jacket that gave his ensemble a bit of edge.
The actor has his eyes covered with thick black shades and he refrained from stopping and posing for the paps, but instead, was seen quickly making an entry into the building.
For those unversed, Siddharth Anand directed Pathaan, which was released in 2023 and marked SRK's return to theatres after five long years. The film shattered all records at the box office and was declared a bumper blockbuster with over Rs 1000 crore in box office collections.
According to reports, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan will face off in Tiger vs. Pathaan, the biggest movie in the YRF Spy Universe. Siddharth Anand is predicted to direct the film.
The actor has reportedly put his work on hold for a while because SRK will be heading to the US shortly to complete his eye treatment.
The actor was reportedly receiving treatment for eye issues in a Mumbai hospital, but the surgery did not go as expected and caused more damage to his eyes. The actor and his wife Gauri are planning a trip to the United States to rectify the harm.
