While the first pictures of their engagement were doing the rounds on social media, we now have a statement from their team, clearing the air for everyone today, giving the clear reason for why they chose that date.
According to the statement, “Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala’s recent engagement on August 8th has sparked various speculations online, with some falsely linking the date to Samantha proposing to Chaitanya on said date.
Contrary to these rumors, the couple’s choice of date had nothing to do with any previous relationships. Instead, they selected August 8th for its spiritual significance, aligning their engagement with the Lion’s Gate Portal, a cosmic event known for its transformative energy.
This decision reflects Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita’s shared values and beliefs, emphasizing the importance of new beginnings and positive energy in their relationship. A source says , that their engagement is a celebration of their unique connection and should be viewed independently of any past associations.”
On work front, Naga Chaitanya is all set for his upcoming movie ‘Thandel’, directed by Chandoo Mondeti and also starring Sai Pallavi. The movie is based on real incidents.
On the other hand, Shobhita Dhulipala was last seen in the English movie ‘Monkey Man’ wherein her acting contribution was highly praised and she was really loved very much for her performance in all her projects even before that.
