On August 21, 2024, Urvashi Rautela posted something new on her Instagram account about herself. In an unclear video, Urvashi displayed a cut on her palm and said she had been admitted to the hospital. She and her colleagues failed to offer any other updates on the situation. Her unsettling caption caught everyone's eye. The video was captioned by her, "PRAY FOR ME"
In the video, Urvashi can be seen reading a book while wearing a mask on her face while sitting on a sofa. The fans were confused by the video, not knowing if it was a promotional or health-related post.
Urvashi Rautela got immediately trolled after sharing the snippet of her hospitalisation. The netizens criticised her for getting admitted to the hospital for a minor cut. They took to her comment section and expressed their disappointment. One user wrote, 'Overacting Ki Dukaan,' and another wrote, 'Itni Chot toh hum dekhte bhi nahi hai.' One female user commented, 'Itna cut toh har hafte housewife ko lagta hai kitchen mein.'
Urvashi Rautela was admitted to a hospital in July 2024 due to a fracture. She was in Hyderabad filming NBK 109, the upcoming Telugu movie starring Nandamuri Balakrishna. However, she suffered an injury while filming an action scene. According to a press release released by her team, she had a "terrible" fracture and has been in pain ever since.
An inquiry on how Urvashi deals with trolls was posed during an earlier interview with the news agency. The actress responded by saying that she ignores trolls as a way to deal with them. The actress continued, saying that she doesn't have time to consider criticism because of her hectic schedule. She claimed that she doesn't consider comments that don't provide her with anything useful.
She stated, "Well, the best way to deal with trolling is not dealing with it. That's what I feel. Also, given my busy, hectic schedule, I genuinely have no time to waste and ponder things that are not relevant or constructive to me. So, there's no question of feeling trolled when you aren't even paying attention. So yes, that's how I deal with it."
