Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video trailer launch: Is Rajkummar Rao giving competition to Akshay Kumar in comedy?

MUMBAI: Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri have emerged like the star of 2024. This year,  Rajkummar Rao was first seen in Mr and Mrs Mahi, then in Srikanth where he gave an amazing performance and is still impressing the audience in theatres with the horror comedy movie Stree 2. On the other hand, Triptii Dimri has also made the audience crazy since his performance in Animal and then in her last movie Bad Newz.

Now Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri are all set for a powerful performance in the upcoming movie Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video which is written and directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa. Along with Rajkummar Rao and Triptii Dimri, the movie will also start Vijay Raaz and Mallika Sherawat. The movie is set in a small town of the 90s and the story revolves around Vicky and Vidya's intimate video.

Now at the trailer launch of Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, Rajkummar Rao talked about the movie and influence of Akshay Kumar.

Rajkummar Rao said, "Akshay sir jo hai unse bohot seekha hai maine…Who humare superstar hai aur apne superstar se aap competiton nahi karte, unko pyaar dete hai. Main bhi fan hoon unka. You know all these people, Shah Rukh sir, Aamir sir, Salman sir, Hrithik sir, Akshay sir, inn sabko dekh ke humne seekha hai. They will always be my superstars. I will always look up to them."
