MUMBAI: On September 12, Shah Rukh Khan was seen late at night arriving at Mumbai's HN Reliance Foundation Hospital to visit his Jawan co-star Deepika Padukone, who had just given birth to her first child with husband Ranveer Singh. On September 8, 2024, the actress welcomed a baby girl, a development that was hailed by both fans as well as peers in the industry.
In addition to the excitement around Deepika and Ranveer's daughter's birth, a video of Shah Rukh Khan coming in his white Rolls Royce went viral on the internet.
This visit is one of many well-known visitors expressing respect and wishing the new parents luck. One of the first people to visit the couple at the hospital and offer their congratulations and blessings to the baby was Mukesh Ambani.
Deepika and Ranveer’s announcement of their baby girl on Instagram received an outpouring of love from the Bollywood fraternity. Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif, and Sara Ali Khan all took to social media to send their warm wishes. Kareena Kapoor also shared her congratulations, wishing the couple and their little one well.
Following the birth, Deepika Padukone is anticipated to temporarily pause her job responsibilities. As earlier reported by the popular news portal, Deepika intends to take a maternity break that will last till March 2025. She will return to work on the follow-up to Kalki 2898 AD, starring Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, and Prabhas, after a break.
Ranveer Singh is now getting ready for his next parts in Don 3, which also stars Kiara Advani, and Singham Again. Fans and colleagues in the industry continue to show the pair love and support as they settle into their new responsibilities as parents.
