MUMBAI: Star Plus is now all set to entertain its audience with a new venture titled Iss Ishq Ka Rabb Rakha starring Fahmaan Khan, who is seen portraying the character of Ranbir, while Sonakshi Batra is essaying the character of Meghla. Meghla hails from Bengali background, whereas Ranbir is from Punjabi background.
In the show Iss Ishq Ka Rabb Rakha, viewers are going to witness a mix of Meghla and Ranbir's two distinct cultures and beliefs, one being Bengali and the other being Punjabi. Witnessing how these two people, who hail from different cultures, collide and what happens next is surely going to be an interesting one. The clash of cultures in the show is sure to intrigue and engage the audience. Along with the show commencing, there is one more surprise that awaits for the audience, and it is the integration episode of the shows Jhanak and Iss Ishq Ka Rabb Rakha. Meghla encounters Jhanak and Anirudh for a special occasion, and this meeting is definitely going to be a visual delight for the audience to watch their favorite artists. The audience will also get to witness the bonding of the Bengalis in the show as Jhanak hails from a Bengali background. This amalgamation definitely comes as a surprising surprise for the audience.
Sonakshi Batra aka Meghla from the Star Plus show Iss Ishq Ka Rabb Rakha shares, "It was an amazing experience to have collaborated with Hiba Nawab aka Jhanak and Krushal Ahuja aka Anirudh for the special integration shoot for the shows Jhanak and Iss Ishq Ka Rabb Rakha. As both the shows have a Bengali background, the integration was even more interesting. We shot for a special sequence where Jhanak, Anirudh, and my character Meghla encounter each other for a function. Collaborating with Hiba Nawab and Krushal Ahuja was definitely a blissful one; they are amazing individuals to work with, and we bonded on the sets. It was a fun experience, and I hope to collaborate with them once again and stay tuned!"
