MUMBAI : The trend of re-releasing classic films on the big screen has been gaining momentum recently, giving both new audiences and longtime fans a chance to experience these beloved movies in theaters. In 2024, films like Hum Aapke Hain Kaun!Laila Majnu, and Veer-Zaara are returning to theaters, and joining them is the cult classic ‘Khosla Ka Ghosla’, starring Boman Irani, set to re-release on 18th October.
This film, counted among Bollywood's most memorable family dramas, has resonated with audiences for years. Its witty dialogues and unforgettable scenes continue to fuel comedy sketches and memes even today. Boman Irani took to social media to share his excitement about the re-release.
Posting a reel on his story on Instagram, Boman Irani wrote: "Back to where it all began! So proud to be part of Khosla ka ghosla's journey! Go book your tickets now."
Boman Irani is also set to make his directorial debut with 'The Mehta Boys', starring Avinash Tiwary and Shreya Chaudhry also in key roles. The film recently was screened at the 15th edition of the Chicago South Asian Film Festival, where it received a standing ovation, and was also showcased at the Toronto South Asian Festival.
