Show's concept and her character Damini...
We are making a show on a topic which is very relevant, which is surrogacy.The story is about a couple who is married for 15 years and they are not able to have a kid. So finally, with the help of science, we tried to have a kid by surrogacy. I think it is very socially relevant. Even in today's world, a woman is blamed for not being able to conceive. But in the show, my husband is shown extremely supportive and understanding. The story is very different and very rarely we have seen such a concept on television. It is one of the few attempts. I hope people like it and also talk about it openly.
Experience with co-stars...
I was very happy sharing screen with Sudha ji because she is senior to me and I think I have a lot of respect for her. I have been in the industry for so long and I have always got to learn something whenever I do scenes with her. That is something I am very happy about. She is a great actor and very professional.
Karanvir and I have done a web series before this show. I already have a great equation with him. We have lots of fun. I am a bit senior to Karan, so I always pull his legs. He is a very nice guy to work with. It is fun working with him. Since Karan is with me, I don't need to create chemistry, it comes out naturally.
