MUMBAI : In today’s fast-paced world, where professional demands often overshadow personal life, popular actress Kamya Panjabi shares her perspective on finding balance. Kamya, who portrays the intriguing character of Mohini in Sun Neo’s show Ishq Jabariya, opens up about the challenges of her profession and how she ensures quality time with her family.

Talking about how she balances professional and personal life, Kamya shared, “In fields where this balance is being implemented, it’s a very good thing. But in our field, acting and television, it’s very demanding. You need to work long hours, plus there’s the travel. Because we have to deliver six or seven episodes a week due to high demand, the supply also has to match. How do I balance it? I think with altered weekends or at least one day off. I try to adjust my schedule. Sometimes, I am let off early, or the work gets done on time, so it doesn’t get too hectic. This way, I can make time for my family and also have some personal “me time.” I think this is very important for everyone. Luckily, my Sun Neo show Ishq Jabariya’s producers are very good, and my team is very understanding. They understand my perspective, which means a lot to me.”

The Ishq Jabariya actress further added, “Spend time with your family. It’s very important for mental health. For me, spending time with family is non-negotiable. At home, phones are not allowed at the dinner table. It’s strictly not allowed. We spend that time talking to each other. Even after my shoot, when I go home, my mother will sit with me. I ensure that my daughter is also engaged in these conversations. We talk about so many things.”

In Ishq Jabariya, Kamya plays Mohini, the aunt of Aditya (Lakshay Khurana). The show follows the heartwarming journey of Gulki (Siddhi Sharma), a lively young woman with big dreams who faces unexpected challenges on her path to love and self-discovery.

Tune in to Sun Neo to watch Ishq Jabariya, every Monday to Saturday at 7:30 PM.
