MUMBAI: Others might complain about Mumbai not having winter, but actress Sara Khan says she enjoys the weather this time of the year. She adds that this is what makes Mumbai unique and special for her. “Well, it’s more like a cooler summer than a true winter! The temperature usually stays warm, and even during the “winter,” it doesn’t feel like the chilly, cozy vibes of the north. But I guess that’s what makes Mumbai unique – it’s always sunny, always lively!” she says. She adds, “It’s definitely the warmest “winter” we’ve had in 16 years! Honestly, it feels like the heat just doesn’t leave Mumbai. But hey, we’ve always had a warm winter, so this isn’t too surprising. You’ve got to love it for its energy, but sometimes, a bit of cool weather wouldn’t hurt!”
However, there are some winter-things that she would love to do. “I do miss proper winters the most – the chilly mornings, cozy sweaters, and hot cups of tea! There’s something so magical about the winter air in places like the hills, with that crispness in the air and the smell of pine trees. I wish Mumbai had that,” she says.Talking about clothes for winter, she says, “For layering clothes here, I love to keep it light but stylish. I like wearing a breathable top, adding a soft cardigan or denim jacket over it. A light scarf or shawl can keep things cozy without making you sweat! It’s all about balance, right?”She adds, “A styling tip for Mumbai winters would be to go for breathable fabrics like cotton and linen, even in winter layers. Pair a cute oversized sweater with slim jeans or leggings. A light jacket and some fun accessories can give you that winter-ready vibe without feeling too hot. Keep it comfy, stylish, and breezy!”
