MUMBAI: Anupamaa is presently ruling our television screens. The show is doing exceptionally well and is topping the weekly BARC ratings. Rupali Ganguly plays the lead role while Gaurav Khanna plays the role of her husband Anuj. These days the track revolves around Anupama going to the US.

As Anupama becomes more wary of Prem's deception about his family, the drama escalates.
Prem is clearly uneasy when she confronts him and asks him questions concerning his parents. However, Anupama interrupts their chat when she spots a girl she knows from an earlier near-accident.
Anupama returns the gesture when the girl waves at her. The girl, relieved to have located her, goes up to Anupama to thank her and apologize for not doing so sooner.
But when Prem hears the girl's voice, he becomes obviously nervous, suggesting that they have a deep bond.
The girl seems to be a close relative of Prem, perhaps his sister.
