MUMBAI: Anupamaa is presently ruling our television screens. The show is doing exceptionally well and is topping the weekly BARC ratings. Rupali Ganguly plays the lead role while Gaurav Khanna plays the role of her husband Anuj. These days the track revolves around Anupama going to the US.

Prem appears to be a member of the wealthy Kothari family, but he despises them and would not communicate with them. He refuses to call himself Kothari, keeps his own name a secret from everyone, and frequently refers to himself as an orphan.
Things will soon be revealed, and Prem will be reliving his past in which he remembers how Parag married Kyaati right away after his mother Gayatri passed away. He despises his parents because he believes that Parag and Kyaati are to blame for the passing of his mother Gayatri.
Although Parag is a tough businessman, he misses his only son Prem. He loves him very much, but he is too afraid to exhibit his weakness to everyone around him to show it.
Although Kyaati loves Prem as if he were her own son, she is unable to get close to him because of his animosity.
Rahi and Anupama are unaware of Prem's past and are about to experience the greatest shock of their lives.
