MUMBAI: Makar Sankranti is a festival that inspires us to soar higher in life, much like flying kites on this special day. The act of flying kites symbolizes overcoming obstacles on the path to success. On this occasion, actress Kamya Panjabi, who plays Mohini in Sun Neo’s show Ishq Jabariya, shared her thoughts on celebrating the festival and more.
Kamya Panjabi said, "I am happy every day of my life. Whenever I want to do something better, I follow my heart without waiting for a special occasion. I express my feelings right away, whether it's anger, happiness, or sweetness. I’ve never flown kites, so I don’t have much to share about Makar Sankranti memories. But I do know that on this day, everyone enjoys tilgul ladoos and usually wears black clothes."
The Ishq Jabariya actress further added, "Makar Sankranti is a festival of joy, but lately, there have been too many accidents during the celebrations. People often forget about safety while flying kites, which can harm themselves and others. Celebrate the festival, but make sure it’s a day of happiness, not a tragic day for someone else. Happy Makar Sankranti to everyone."
Ishq Jabariya is an engaging love story centered around Gulki, a determined young woman with big aspirations. Featuring a stellar cast, including Kamya Panjabi, Siddhi Sharma, and Lakshay Khurana, Ishq Jabariya delivers depth and emotion in its captivating narrative.
Watch Ishq Jabariya every Monday to Saturday at 7:30 PM, only on Sun Neo.
