MUMBAI: A recent photograph of actor Malaika Arora watching the Rajasthan Royals vs Chennai Super Kings match at the Baraspara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati, alongside former Sri Lankan cricketer and current Rajasthan Royals director of cricket, Kumar Sangakkara, has stirred a frenzy online. Several screenshots from the match, showing Malaika sporting a Royals jersey in the team’s dugout, quickly went viral, leaving fans curious about her presence.

The video clips sparked speculation, with some netizens questioning the connection between Malaika and the team. One user asked, "Why is Malaika Arora sitting in the RR dugout, especially with Sanga?" Another commented, "Malaika Arora sitting with Kumar Sangakkara. Something cooking? I see no relation between her and RR."
However, a source close to Malaika dismissed the rumors, stating, "Just because two people are sitting together doesn’t mean they’re dating. People should stop spreading baseless stories."
These speculations surfaced just months after actor Arjun Kapoor, who had been dating Malaika since 2018, confirmed their breakup at a promotional event for "Singham Again" in October. When fans shouted Malaika’s name, Arjun remarked, "Abhi single hoon main, relax (I'm single now)." Meanwhile, Malaika has remained silent on the subject.
