MUMBAI: This World Environment Day, Sonic – the homegrown kids’ entertainment channel known for its high- decibel comedy shows and fun content – joined hands with the Bhamla Foundation for their #BeatPlasticPollution campaign to champion a greener, more sustainable future for kids and families.

Leading the charge was Sonic’s newest firecracker, Bittu from Bittu Bahanebaaz, who brought a burst of energy to the star-studded celebration on 4th June attended by changemakers, dignitaries, and youth icons including Malaika Arora, Vedang Raina, Shreya Ghoshal, Imtiyaz Ali, Shaan, Jannat Zubair, Karanveer Mehra, Karan Wahi, Sophie Choudhary, Rasika Duggal, Shiv Thakare and Rithvik Dhanjani . From posing for photos and cheering on the crowd to distributing saplings and other eco-friendly merchandise Bittu became the face of fun sustainability at the event.

The momentum continued on June 5th during the Green Cyclothon, where Bittu flagged off the early morning ride and rallied participants to embrace simple, sustainable habits - showing that even small steps can lead to big change.

Through this powerful collaboration with the Bhamla Foundation, Sonic proudly amplified the message of the #BeatPlasticPollution campaign, making environmental awareness both exciting and accessible for young audiences.
Sonic continues to go beyond screens to inspire the next generation of change-makers - championing causes that empower and inspire the next generation to build a better, greener future.

Step into a world of laughter and imagination, where rules bend and creativity wins, with Bittu Bahanebaaz – only on Sonic every day at 12.30 PM!
