He’d easily rank amongst the finest dancers in the country but Abhishek Avasthi is still falling short of judges Ahmed Khan and Abhijeet’s expectations on Ek Se Badhkar Ek. If Abhishek is feeling low and needs some encouragement then he needn’t look beyond his competitor Kushal Punjabi.
In one of the episodes, Abhishek was severely reprimanded by ace choreographer and Ek Se.. judge Ahmed Khan, who made no bones that Abhishek deserved to be eliminated. The general impression among the viewers is that these judges are very harsh. However, Kushal disagrees, “I don’t think our judges are singling out Abhishek. He’s a trained dancer thus our judges have high expectations from him. What I’ve observed is that Abhishek mainly sticks to one style of dancing i.e. street dance. As a friend, I advise him to get out of this street dance thing and create something new. He’s taken criticism in the right sprit and I expect him to perform much better.”
