UK-made poster of Boss fails to get Customs clearance; unveiling cancelled

Boss
The Mumbai fans of “Khiladi” Akshay Kumar, who were anxiously waiting to see the unveiling of a gigantic poster of his upcoming film Boss, were in for a shock when they learnt that the unveiling ceremony has been cancelled. Actually, the event had to be called off at the last moment after the poster which was shipped from the UK to Mumbai was stuck at Nhava Sheva port after it failed to get clearance from the Customs Department. Said a spokesperson of Viacom 18, the producer of the film, "The poster is stuck at Nhava Sheva port and we are waiting for clearance. We hope to get it by today (16.10.2013)." Here it may be recollected that the poster was made by Team Akshay's fan club in the UK. And the poster that took over 3 months to be completed is 58.87 meters wide and 54.94 meters high. The poster, that made it to the Guinness World Record recently as the largest poster, beat that of Michael Jackson’s This Is It.
