Riteish Deshmukh leaves Grand Masti’s success party midway without cutting the cake

Sometimes you can’t have your cake and eat it too. That’s what happened with Riteish Deshmukh at Grand Masti’s success bash, held yesterday at Sun n Sand. For starters, Riteish walked in to the party alone, sans his pretty wife. Now considering that this was a celebratory party where the entire cast and crew were in full attendance including Vivek Oberoi and Aftab Shivdasani who came with their better halves as well, we were a bit surprised to see Riteish making a solo appearance. The actor, however, gallantly mingled around with all the guests and stayed on for close to an hour before indulging in a disappearing act with Vivek and Aftab. Just when we thought that the stars had left, the troika reappeared back for one last time to cut the celebratory cake. This is where things started going a bit awry. It was nearing midnight and the sea-side lawn of the hotel was getting just a bit too hot for comfort. As the stars waited patiently, there was no sign of the celebratory cake arriving. This is when Riteish's manager intervened. The manager was seen telling the officials that 'if the cake is not coming, Riteish will leave.' Finding no confirmation coming forth, Riteish left the venue with his manager in tow, leaving Vivek and Aftab to cut the cake along with director Indra Kumar. Wonder what made Riteish leave the venue in a huff?
