Neeraj Pandey's Aman ki Asha is now titled Total Siyappa

It is known that director Neeraj Pandey known for his films like A Wednesday and Special 26, has turned a producer. Earlier, the film’s title was Aman ki Asha. But, the maker felt that it was communicating a very different (serious) feel while the film was a fun one. The maker even tested the title with focus groups and got mixed reviews for the title. They did not even get the crux of the film right. Hence they decided to take a collective call on changing the name. The film has now been titled Total Siyappa means total chaos. As a matter of fact, Total Siyappa suits the plot of the movie very accurately and also gives the hint of the storyline. Confirmed Pandey, "Yes we had earlier called the film Aman ki Asha as the boy's name is Aman and girl's name is Asha. But the film is more than that. So we have now changed it to a Punjabi title Total Siyappa." The film set in London is a hilarious take when a Pakistan Punjabi boy goes to meet the girl's Indian Punjabi family. And the chaos that follows forms the crux of the film. The movie is being directed by E Niwas, known for his films like Shool and My Name Is Anthony Gonsalves among others. The film stars Ali Zafar and Yami Gautam. It is set to hit the silver screen on 31 January next year (2014).
