Aashka Goradia set to sizzle at the Emmys; thanks Anil Wanvari for the opportunity

Dazzling Aashka Goradia can’t stop smiling these days!!! Reason? The beautiful Indian actress is set to sizzle the Big Apple. She will walk the red carpet looking stunning at the 41st Emmy Awards, 2013 thanks to Anil Wanvari founder, CEO of Indiantelevision.com (Tellychakkar.com’s parent company). Wanvari has been a member of the academy for the past decade. His company has also been hosting the semi final round of the judging for the International Emmys since the past eight to nine years. This year, Aashka Goradia was a member of the jury which judged the Comedy and Tele Novella categories in Mumbai earlier this year. As a host, Wanvari can invite a guest to the International Emmy Gala which is held in the Hilton Hotel in New York. At the same time even jury members are invited by the International Academy. This year both Wanvari and the academy decided to invite Aashka to be a part of the gala and the International Emmy Festival which takes place at the Sofitel Hotel a few blocks away from the Hilton. Aashka graciously accepted to be a representative of the Indian television industry at the International Emmys. And she jetted off to the Big Apple early this morning. Apparently, she has got her wardrobe sorted out for each of the days when she will be a part of the International Emmy festivities. Sounding proud and excited the girl chirps, “It’s all thanks to Anil Wanvari who has been working as a bridge between the EMMYs and our industry. It is he who has managed to get us space and be noticed in an international platform as honourable as this. And I am so happy that I, as an Indian TV actor, will manage to stand among them with my head held high.” Aashka who will be privileged with a juror position in the awards will be at the ceremony for four days and will be rubbing shoulders with all the biggies of TV from around the world. As she states, “Being a juror of the semi final stage you get a chance to be at the event, but we hardly take an effort to do so. With Anil ji giving such a great opportunity, I think more people from our industry should take a step forward and reach out to the International circuit.” In the past, actors such as Simone Singh, Anuj Saxena and Prerna Wanvari have also attended the International Emmys and impressed the global TV industry which assembles for the gala each year at the Hilton. This apart, Zee group chairman Subhash Chandra was a recipient of the International Emmy Directorate Award in 2011.
