Krishna gets Gulaal

Krishna Gokani, whom we have seen as Bhakti in Star Plus' Hamari Devrani, is back and that too in Gulaal. She was last seen in Hamari Devrani but her track came to an end because the character she was playing delivered and, then because of some complications, died. Does that leave her a chance to return to the popular show? “It depends on my fans and the show's fans; whether they want me to be back in the show or not,” Krishna comments. Asked about her new role Krishna responds with glee in her eyes, “I play the wife of Sushant Singh in Gulaal. She is a girl with a modern outlook. She is not homely and will not let go of her own feelings or needs to do something for others.” Is it a lead role? The actress explains how she views all roles as equally important. “No role is unimportant in any show or movie. When Kareena Kapoor played a small but important role in Don everyone noticed her and it was properly highlighted. I have always given importance to my character in all the shows have been a part of. This show is no different. I didn't want to lose the opportunity that Gulaal was offering me, and want to make best use of it. I have always admired Sphere Origins as a production house and thus said yes to this show almost immediately.” Best of luck, Krishna!
