Akanksha Juneja bags Bollywood projects

Joining the band of television actors who have taken a plunge into Bollywood is Akanksha Juneja. In television space the actress was last seen in Sony Entertainment Television’s Bade Achhe Lagte Hain (Balaji Telefilms). As per reports, Akanksha has gone on to bag not one but two Bollywood projects. Yes, the actress has bagged not one but two Bollywood flicks. “My first film is titled Ikka Top that’s being produced by GK Productions. We are in the final schedule of the film and it is slotted to release sometime in April 2014,” confirms the actress. Well, the movie is a complete entertainer and has a plot concoction of comedy, romance and thrill. Akanksha plays the sister of the male lead in Ikka Top. The actress however refuses to talk about her second 70 mm project as it’s yet to roll. But if sources are to be believed, it will be a comedy film that will go on-floor sometime in January 2014. Does this mean there is no looking back for Akanksha now? “Not at all, I love TV; in fact I prefer TV over films.” Now that’s a first we must admit! “Hundreds of films come and go and no one remembers the actors. But people recognise every character of a TV show. That’s, the reason why I am fond of TV. I am just waiting for the right role to come my way,” she ends. We wish you luck Akanksha!
