When Karan Johar promoted Koffee With Karan on the press launch of India's Got Talent

It was Colors’ India’s Got Talent press launch conference yesterday (7 January 2014) and one expected celebs associated with the project to go ga-ga over the venture. However, one of the judges of the show, the dynamic and dashing Karan Johar, hit a different promotional note altogether. Instead of marketing the Colors’ show he went on talking about his other show on Star World, which he hosts, Koffee with Karan. This is what unfolded in the conference: During the interaction session, one of our reporters asked Karan his opinion on both his shows, India’s Got Talent and Koffee with Karan airing on two different channels but at the same time slot of 9pm. Karan went to ask the assembled journos, ‘which show will you guys watch’? and everyone shouted Koffee with Karan. Hearing this Karan could not stop laughing which irked the Colors’ PR representatives who immediately had to butt in. The next question was on what he likes about IGT but here too Karan ended up speaking about his chat show. However, later he called it a slip of tongue. He said, “It’s been enlightening being a part of Koffee With Karan. Ooops! It was just a slip of tongue. I meant IGT.” And then he went on to blame the Colors PR team for making him wait for so long which according to him, was definitely the reason for the slip of tongue. Well, we found his slip of tongue quite fascinating. But we must say that better than judging talent, he likes to have conversation over a cup of Koffee…oops…we mean coffee.
