Shaleen Bhanot, who will soon be seen in Star's Sangam loves to put on his dancing shoes when not shooting. This new kid on the block is a proficient dancer and just hold your breath; it seems he's good at Kathak, Salsa, Jazz, Rajasthani folk and Bollywood dancing too.
"I was always fascinated by dance. It helps me understand my body language. Since my childhood, I always wanted to learn many forms of dance. I took baby steps to pursue my hobby by joining Shamak Dawar's classes during my school days, " says Shaleen.

Giving out tips to those keen on pursuing dancing, Shaleen recommends classical is the best form. For anyone wanting to learn basic dance steps, I think they should start off with classical. Not just that, but I've found that kathak has also helped me shed a lot of weight. It's the best form of exercise. At present, I don't have time to practise."
Meanwhile, on the career front Shaleen is happy doing Kaajal on Sony and is looking forward to his new show Sangam on Star Plus.
With a glint in his eyes, the actor reveals, "Incidently, I am playing negative character in both the shows. And I am quite excited about my new venture.I have received few offers for films but I am not very keen on doing films. I am currently enjoying working in daily soaps and will think about films in future."
Right said, Shaleen….
