I have no issues with Preetika; I was misquoted in the article: Dimple Jhangiani

Shit happens and at times exuberant journos miss the plot and go on to misquote. But the folly can often lead to lot of repercussions for the person who actually gets misquoted. Ask Dimple Jhangiani, the popular face from Beintehaa, and she will tell you more about it. In an interview she gave to a renowned national daily, she stated how her co star Preetika Rao’s character Aaliya was jealous and insecure in the above show. But the overzealous journo wrote that Dimpla actually hates Preetika, drawing wrath from the fans of latter. “Don’t ask how many hate messages and posts I have been receiving from the time the article went up and sadly it was caused by such a wrong usage of words. The reporter was talking about Aaliya and Barkat (their character names) and when the article got published it mentioned Preetika and Dimple. Such wrong means to gain eyeballs,” said an angry Dimple. So is there nothing wrong between them? “Nothing at all, Preetika is a sweet girl and we are friendly with each other on sets. Aaliya and Barkat might not see eye-to-eye with each other but I am not like Barkat, am a friendly person in real life and thus would never have a problem with anyone to that extent,” shared Dimple. Clarifying the misunderstanding with her fans, the pretty girl stated, “Guys, there is seriously no animosity between me and Preetika, on screen we might be enemies, but in real life there is no truth to that tale. The article was a farce and I hope you all don’t take such stories to heart.” Preetika did not revert to our calls or messages.
